DOCUMENTATION FOR ADMISSION. Children (students) are admitted upon filing a written application and the child’s (student’s) personal identity document. If the said document is not available at the time of admission, it must be provided later. The head of the educational institution shall sign a training contract with one of the child’s (student’s) parents (guardian, curator) and assigns the child (student) to a class or a group as per his or her age under an order. The institution shall notify the Education Department about the admission of a child (student).

Granting benefits for payment for child’s meals at school:
Parents (guardians, curators) shall submit a written request to the head of the educational institution for payment for meals of children in pre-school or pre-primary education groups:
- 100% release from obligation to pay until the end of 2022–2023 school year;
- 50% benefit or 100% benefit from the beginning of 2023–2024 school year. Decision on the amount of the benefit shall be made by the Commission of the Municipality Administration for the application of benefits for catering services in pre-school and pre-primary groups, taking into account the documents submitted by the head of the educational institution or other necessary information about the social situation of the family.
According to the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, all pre-school children are provided with free meals.

Free meals and allowance for students’ supplies shall be provided to students in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania. Free meals are provided to pre-schoolers, the 1st form and the 2nd form schoolchildren without making any assessment of the family income and filing an application. Allowance for student’s supplies and free meals for the 3rd form – 12th form schoolchildren is provided upon assessment of the family income.
